Glenn, Karen, Peter and Margaret will be attending the Hearth Patio and Barbeque Expo in 2012 which will be held in Atlanta Georgia. The HPB Expo is North Americas largest indoor-outdoor living showcase. The team are looking forward to the trip and will be exhibiting at Booth #2441 and #2540.

Peter Hutchison (SmartBurn Inventor) made his USA radio debut on Home Talk USA www.hometalkusa.com on Saturday 6th August 2011 with Michael King. The very popular syndicated home improvement radio show reaches 5.1 million listeners weekly discussing many topics and issues concerning home improvements and introduces the consumer to new and innovative products.

 Peter discussed SmartBurn, the breakthrough new product that has been proven to produce 17% More Heat, 50% Less Smoke and Reduce Wood Usage Costs.SmartBurn is responsible for preventing over 1600 tonnes of particulate emissions from entering the atmosphere in Australia, and has won over 70 Australian Awards for Environmental Sustainability, Innovation and Excellence.

Armidale Autumn Festival (NSW)

Due to its geographic location and due to meteorological conditions, Armidale has a significant air quality problem throughout the winter months. Environmental factors effectively ‘trap' wood smoke in the city posing a health risk to all residents in Armidale, for some this can be quite serious.

SmartBurn Australia exhibited along side Armidale Dumaresq Council in the Households Energy Connector tent in an effort to educate residents on the correct use of wood heaters for maximum heat and minimum pollution.

  Hearth, Patio & Barbeque Expo, Salt Lake City, Utah

 The Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Expo is North America's largest indoor-outdoor living showcase. Every year, more than 350 leading hearth, patio and barbecue manufacturers and suppliers exhibit and demonstrate their latest home heating solutions. SmartBurn was showcased at the event for its environmental & consumer benefits.

 As well as being a part of this fantastic Expo, SmartBurn was also a finalist in the Vesta Awards for Hearth Accessories. The Vesta Awards recognize and honour companies for their innovation in product design and/ or technology.

  Environmental Health “Integration not Isolation Conference” (Tasmania)

The conference theme highlighted the fact that Council Environmental Health Practioners  shouldn’t need to tread the road towards achieving compliance alone and that they should seek workable partnerships to address non compliance and to ease the burden of enforcement.  SmartBurn addressed all Tasmanian Councils on the need to offer SmartBurn as a wood smoke pollution reduction device to residents.

Environmental Health “Innovation and Diversity Conference” (Victoria)

The theme of the conference was to encourage Environmental Health Officers to continue to look outwards to find new challenges and alternative ways of achieving better public health outcomes.  SmartBurn addressed many of the Victorian Councils on the need to actively promote SmartBurn as part of a combined wood smoke reduction strategy.

Dunsborough Hardware Garden Open Day (Western Australia)
