… dry wood lasts longer and burns more slowly especially when dampened right down for the night. It used to burn out by 2 am … now it is still giving off heat in the morning.I am really glad that I bought SmartBurn - very economical !

• Normally, I have to clean my chimney (flue) 3-4 times …April-September … saw the “SmartBurn” story in the Examiner and decided to try it. 
… flue didn’t need to be cleaned until October, only once for this winter season.  … wasn’t necessary to clean out the firebox weekly….now only every 3-4 weeks.
Smoke emissions … reduced quite dramatically.

• My husband got up on to the roof to clean the flue (for the first time since we started using SmartBurn 3 months ago).  …amazed at how little buildup there was in the flue, compared to the awful amount when he last cleaned it.

The old lady I bought one for in Launceston had got through the winter warm & toasty without a warning from the smoke police there. This means a very great deal to her, … saving of effort in not having to carry & load so much wood… over 85 you notice the labour of wood fires even more .. it really made a difference to her.
